Key Responsibilities
- Front Desk Management: Greet and welcome students, parents, and visitors with a professional and friendly demeanor. Respond to emails, text messages and manage general inquiries promptly and courteously.
- Scheduling and Coordination: Manage student and tutor schedules, including booking appointments, cancellations, and reschedules. Ensure efficient allocation of resources and resolve scheduling conflicts. All communication is done through text messaging.
- Student and Parent Support: Assist students with sign-ins, session check-outs, and general questions. Provide information about our programs and services to prospective clients.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records, attendance logs, and administrative files.
- Office Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area and common spaces. Manage office supplies inventory.
- Communication: Serve as a liaison between students, parents, tutors, and management. Disseminate important information effectively.
- Administrative Tasks: Assist with preparing materials for tutoring sessions and assisting the center director with projects.
Qualifications
- A degree, preferably an Associate's or Bachelor's, is preferred.
- Prospective applicants will be asked to complete a qualifying assessment online
- A commitment of a full year is required.
- 2+ years of administrative experience, preferably in an educational or customer service environment.
- Proficiency in Google Suite, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a patient and empathetic approach.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor.
