Summer Camp Instructor (1-6)
KEONI Learning is seeking dedicated Summer Camp Instructors for our 2026 Summer Program. This role is ideal for students seeking a background in education, psychology, or social work.
We are now accepting applications and will begin the interview process in mid-April 2026, with training starting in June.
KEONI Information:
Our summer camp begins on June 15 and runs through July 31, operating Monday through Thursday. This program lasts for six weeks, and a commitment of at least three full weeks is necessary. We offer an AM session from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and a PM session from 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm or all day.
Responsibilities:
- Instruction: Lead 6–8 students (Grades 1–6) through Life Skills (AM) and Academic Skills (PM).
- Mentorship: Support student well-being and academic performance through personalized coaching.
- Reporting: Document student progress throughout the camp.
- Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student with a 3.5 GPA or higher
- MUST be able to demonstrate marked proficiency in tutoring K-6 grade subjects (prospective applicants will be asked to complete a qualifying assessment)
- Experience with Common Core State Standards is a plus
- At least 1-2 years of previous experience in providing education and support to families and/or working with children
- Training will be provided
