Summer Camp Instructor (1-6)
KEONI Learning is seeking Summer Camp Instructors for our 2025 Summer Camp Program!
We are now accepting applications and will start the interviewing process in May 2025, and training will start in June 2025.
KEONI Information:
Our summer camp begins on June 16 and continues until July 31, operating from Monday to Thursday. This program lasts for six weeks, and a commitment of at least three full weeks is necessary. We offer an AM session from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and a PM session from 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm

Responsibilities:
- Lead a classroom of 6-8 students (Grades 1-6, depending on enrollment)
- AM session: Teach students Life Skills
- PM session: Teach students Academic Skills
- Create brief student progress reports
- Act as an educational coach and mentor, being sensitive to various factors that may affect a student's academic performance
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled as undergraduate student with a 3.5 GPA or higher
- MUST be able to demonstrate marked proficiency in tutoring K-6 grade subjects (prospective applicants will be asked to complete a qualifying assessment)
- Experience with Common Core State Standards is a plus
- Previous experience in providing education and support to families and/or working with children is a plus
- Training will be provided
