One-On-One Learning 

California today is facing a huge issue of overcrowded classrooms.  This major issue is not only damaging the social, psychological and physical well-being of children, but it is also affecting a child's ability to learn academically.  A class of thirty or more students can limit a teacher's ability to provide high-quality education.  Struggling students may also refrain from asking questions in class in fear that they will get picked on. 

At KEONI,  we provide one-on-one instruction on a 1:2 ratio.  Our private tutoring method will give your child the opportunity to ask as many questions as they want and to take as much time as they need to understand the concepts given.  

Parent-Child Homework Wars

The most stressful part of the child-parent relationship is homework!
Most parents work full-time and when they get home from work, all they hope for is completed homework assignments.  Unfortunately, that is not the case for majority of the parents who are struggling through getting their child to comprehend and complete their homework assignments on time.  This creates a struggle between the child and parent and may create a more complex relationship between both of them. 

At KEONI,  we can help take the pressure off and add to the family's quality of life by teaching kids to be responsible for their own work.  We offer homework help for students that are struggling in understanding their school assignments and we also help with organizational skills.  

Summer Tutoring

While it is important to take breaks, summer is too long of a break to allow students to go without academic stimulation.  The consequences of this extended academic time-off can be detrimental, especially to students already struggling during the school year.  Tutoring in the summer can be beneficial for students that are struggling as well as high-achieving students.   This is the only time of the year that  students do not have to adhere to other academic responsibilities, which allows them to focus on catching up or getting ahead in class.  

At KEONI,  we offer year-round tutoring in all core subjects.  We also have a weekly summer program that focuses intensely on Common Core.  

Confident and Self-Esteem Builder

For numerous students, high levels of self-esteem and confidence are naturally part of their personalities. Unfortunately, for those that struggle academically, self-esteem and confidence may quickly fade. When a child loses their confidence, they may also lose the ability to learn new material and succeed in an academic setting. Students who have transitioned from struggling learners to self-confident learners through the use of tutoring services have stated that before, they felt defeated emotionally, physically and academically.
