Summer Camp Instructor (K-6)
KEONI Learning is seeking Summer Camp Instructors for our 2023 Summer Camp Program!
We are now accepting applications and will start the interviewing process in April. Training is provided in May.
KEONI Information:
Our summer camp starts on June 5 through August 4 and it is a Monday - Friday program. This is a 8-week program. A minimum of 3 full weeks commitment is required. We have an AM session (9:00 am - 12:00 pm) and PM session (12:30 pm - 3:30 pm).

Responsibilities:
- Lead a classroom of 6 students (Grades K-6, depending on enrollment)
- Teach K-6 students in math, reading, and writing
- Create brief student progress reports
- Act as educational coach and mentor, being sensitive to various factors that may affect a student's academic performance
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled as undergraduate student with a 3.5 GPA or higher
- MUST be able to demonstrate marked proficiency in tutoring K-6 grade subjects (prospective applicants will be asked to complete a qualifying assessment)
- Experience with Common Core State Standards is a plus
- Previous experience in providing education and support to families and/or working with children is a plus
